Abbie Cornish is an Australian artist and actress. She began modeling at the age of 13 years old and her first acting job came at the age of 15. Following her modeling career, Cornish went on to appear in a myriad of television and film programs. Cornish is known for her portrayals of Bess Throckmorton, the courtier in the historical film "Elizabeth: The Golden Age" as well as the heroin addict named Candy in the film "Candy." Lindy in sci-fi thriller "Limitless" and Fanny Brawne, in the biopic "Bright Star". Her TV roles include "Outriders" as well as Marking Time'. Cornish is a singer and rapper who has performed since 2000 under the stage name MC Dusk. Born in New South Wales and raised in a family of three brothers and one sister, she had good childhood, until her parents divorced when she turned 16. Although their separation was a difficult time for her, Abbie managed to get over the trauma and focus on her new career. The Australian beauty is a fantastic pianist and guitarist, but she enjoys acting more than any other thing. Cornish is a vegan who believes in the rights of animals. Cornish can also be found contributing to animal rights organisations. Abbie Cornish was born in Lochinvar, New South Wales on August 7, 1982. She is the fifth of five children of Barry Cornish. Isabelle Corish is her older sister and she is an actress. In terms of the love life of the actress she was previously engaged to actor Ryan Phillippe who she dated between 2006 and 2010.
