Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching, born March 28 1977 was an American actress , best recognized for her part in 24 as well as the voice work that she performed for Tess in Naughty Dog’s video game The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis, Missouri and was raised there. She attended high school at Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis where she graduated in 1995. She was a competitor in Irish dance in her early years and was part of the St. Louis Celtic Dancers. Millikin University gave her a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which she received in 1999. Wersching's acting debut was an appearance as a guest on Star Trek: Enterprise. Then, Wersching was invited to star on guest shows like Charmed and Killer Instinct. From March through November 2007 she was the regular character of Amelia Joffe on the ABC Daytime soap series General Hospital. She has also performed in theaters such as Victory Gardens and Marriott Lincolnshire. In 2014, she was the regular series star for Bosch, an Amazon Prime crime drama Bosch. Wersching played catcher for the National League during the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends, Celebrity Softball Game and 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends. Wersching also played the role in the role of Tess in The Last of Us on PlayStation 3. Geoff Keighley teased her character on Twitterprior to when she was revealed in the Spike Video Game Awards story trailer on December 7 the 7th of December, 2012. Wersching was to be cast in the part of the Borg Queen in Star Trek: Picard in September 2021.
