Jillian Noel Hennessy

Jillian Noel Hennessy (19 November 1975) is a Canadian singer and actor. She is most famous for her role as Claire Kincaid, a US prosecutor, on Law & Order for three seasons. Crossing Jordan was six seasons. Jordan Cavanaugh, the protagonist on Crossing Jordan, lasted six seasons. She also appeared as an actress in films like RoboCop 3: Most Wanted and the indie films Chutney Popcorn (which she also co-directed) and The Acting Class (which was written by her). Hennessy was born in Edmonton, Alberta. John Hennessy, her father was a meat salesman as well as an executive in sales and marketing. His work required a lot of travel, which led to many moves for the family. Maxine Hernnessy was Maxine's mother and secretary, passed away in 1982. Eleanor her paternal grandmother who lived in Kitchener (Ontario) played a part in the raising of her daughter. She has a younger brother named John Paul "J.P." Hennessy, Jr., and a identical twin sister named Jacqueline She is an editor for magazines and a TV show host in Canada. Hennessy has Irish as well as French, Swedish, Italian, and Swedish ancestry from her father, and most of her Ukrainian Roma and Austrian heritage from her mother. She graduated from Grand River Collegiate Institute and Stanley Park Senior Public School. Hennessy was the younger sister of her brother, who made their acting debut in 1988 when they were twin call-girls in the TV show Dead Ringers. Gillian Anderson, Gillian Anderson's sister, revealed that she was shortlisted in The X-Files for Dana Scully's role. Hennessy also played the role as Dr. Marie Lazarus on RoboCop 3. In 1993, Dick Wolf signed Hennessy to play the role of Claire Kincaid assistant district attorney in the show Law & Order. She played the character for three seasons, leaving the show in the year 1996.
