Paula Faris

Paula Faris is an American journalist from the United States. She previously worked as the TV reporter for ABC News. She is well-known for her time as co-anchor of Good Morning America Weekend from 2014 to 2018 as well as in her role as co-host on The View from 2015 to 2018. The show was co-hosted by her prior co-anchors America This Morning as well as World News Now. After graduating, she worked in several communications-related jobs including an operations position at Mills/James Productions in Columbus, Ohio. Due to the limited opportunities on TV the company employed her in sales for radio. She was eventually able to find work for a year as a production assistant at WKEF/WRGT , and then occasionally anchor or report. She was the weekend anchor and weekday sports anchors for WCPO TV, Cincinnati, from 2002 to 2005. After her contract expired and she became a anchor and reporter for sports at the NBC affiliate WMAQ-TV in Chicago from November 2005 until December 2011. In December 2011 it was revealed that she was employed by ABC's news division, ABC News. The 2nd of January, 2012 she made her debut on the ABC network's World News Now and America This Morning. During this time she occasionally performed as a fill-in host on Good Morning America as well as a correspondent. She was later promoted as a New York-based reporter for the entire ABC News programs. Her final episode of World News Now and America This Morning was broadcast on January 22 13. Following the time that Bianna Golodryga quit for Yahoo!, her debut as co-anchor on Good Morning America Weekend was on August 9, 2014. News. News. It was revealed on August 3 in 2016 that she had been renewed for for the 20th season. Season 21 was also renewed with her hosting duties as co-hosts. She was most well-known in the 22nd and 21st seasons on the series.
